The Palo County Hospital Auxiliary loan committee selected Barbara Peterson, a Graettinger High School graduate, as one of three recipients of a $500 loan. The loan is renewable and must be repaid six months after college graduation at 24 percent interest. Seventeen applicants competed for three $500 loans and three $300 loans to pursue health related careers.
