In Memorial evening action the married men of Graettinger defeated the single men 18 to 17 after five innings. Ben Reeves pitched for the married men with Keator catching, Calvin Gammon pitched for the young men with John DeLawyer catching. The game served as a workout and team-building, with plans to form a town ball club for the season.
