Funeral Travel to Steamboat Rock for Briggs Relative

B W McElhinney of Goldfield, a banker, took bankruptcy and paid creditors in full. He transferred twenty two farms to satisfy claims. The special receiver managed the real estate sale so well that all creditors were paid and $9,000 remained to be returned to the Goldfield banker. If he had kept the farms, his finances would have improved as values recovered.

A Gift That Was Appreciated Yesterday
J. A. Spies presented the Times with a basket of Malinda apples from his orchard. The apples were stored in barrels after being picked last fall and only one apple spoiled.
