Mary Duffy Mooney, born April 27 1884 in Great Oak township, died in Lansing after a stroke on the Monday after July Fourth. She was 47 and left no children, married to James S Mooney in 1904. Survived by father Patrick Duffy and brothers T J Duffy and J B Mooney among others. Funeral held in Lansing Catholic church with burial in local cemetery.
