Howard Horswell Recovering After Mayo Hospital Operation
Howard Horswell, who underwent a surgical operation at the Mayo hospital in Rochester a week ago Saturday, is recovering slowly. He had a small tumor removed near the carotid area. Mrs. Horswell and two daughters returned from Rochester and Faribault Thursday evening. recovery is expected, and if complete, he may rejoin the navy, where he has served since last September.

Aage Jensen Veteran Dies After Heart Attack
Aage Jensen aged 50 died Monday in Morest City after suffering a heart attack. Funeral services were held at Bethany Lutheran church and interment followed at Danish Lutheran cemetery in Tyler Minnesota. Jensen, a veteran of the last war, survived by his wife Mabel Andersen and son Keith in the service. he had run a Thompson mercantile for 13 years and was well known in Graettinger.

Martha Helgeson born in Hardanger Norway 1876 came to the United States in 1907 and married James T Helgeson in 1908. She died July 1 1945 at age 68 after a second stroke at her Graettinger home. Funeral services were held at the home and First Lutheran Church with Rev Julius Massed presiding. Interment in Lutheran cemetery. She leaves eight children and numerous relatives.
