Mrs Wiegmann Dies in Graettinger After Illness
The Graettinger community mourns the death of Wilhelmina Charlotte Conradi Wiegmann at 63 after a long illness. She and Conrad Wiegmann raised eight children across Grundy and Emmet counties before settling in Graettinger where he and F C run a local business. The funeral, officiated by Rev. C J Mekkelsen, was held in a Chautauqua tent with Rebekah lodge and I O C F pallbearers. She was a devout Christian, pioneer mother, and beloved neighbor, survived by six living children, fifteen grandchildren, and her husband. She is laid to rest north of town.

A poultry and hog clinic was held Thursday evening in the Hawkeye theatre basement. A Lee Company representative from Omaha offered advice on poultry and hog diseases.
