Emmetsburg and Estherville teams conducted the work, officers were installed, and a Hooverized banquet followed at Windsor hotel. Dear brother I have not forgotten you. We have no band left and are busy training. I have been to the front and seen real action Sherman was right. We have just finished a bottle and rest is limited. Peace seems slow but we are keeping up the fight while here. Weather is nice though nights are cool. I cannot tell my whereabouts or many experiences but may share someday. I met several fellows from Iowa including Hensel Smith of Waterloo. I barely know what else to write this time.
