The Lost Island township Farm Bureau held a regular meeting at the equer schoolhouse on Tuesday evening July 2. Chairman Martin Simonson called the meeting to order. The program featured community singing led by Mrs. Lewis Capener, readings by Warley Hanson and Mrs. Grace Stone, vocal solos by Velma Fohnson and others, a vocal trio, and moving pictures by the County Agent on bee keeping, orange industry, and a film titled Just Plain Folks. Johny Berg of Ruthven invited the bureau to attend the Ruthven Community picnic on July 17.
