Walnut Homemakers Elect New Officers
The Walnut Homemakers met at Wilma Bisgand's home on June 23 with 18 members and seven guests. Mary Aleych chaired. officers elected for the year: Vera Powers chair, Mary Abesch vice chair, Katherine Burg publicity, Florence Merk secretary-treasurer. Talks by Mr. DeSpain on Farm Bureau Policy and Clarissa Swanson on Our Flag preceded a salute to the flag. Refreshments were served. July meeting is a picnic at Elnora Peterson's. Lunch receipts were 5.19 dollars.
