Graettinger Pirates improve to 5-0 in conference action by routing Ruthven Rams 73-57. Tim Kulow led the offense with efficient wing jumpers and strong fast breaks, helping a second half run to pull away after a close first half.
Pirates surged to a 27 point scoring burst in the first half as Steve Moran added 14 points. Rebounds led by Dave Ennen and Moran with 20 each. Gräettinger beat Ruthven 73 57 in boys basketball on January 19, 1973.
