Marian Jensen of Graettinger was named 1976-77 General Mills Family Leader of Tomorrow after a December 7 written test. State winner receives 1500 scholarship and a Britannica reference set for the school. all 51 state winners tour Williamsburg and D C in April to select All American Leader with a 5000 scholarship.
James R. Graettinger of Graettinger High School is among 15 area seniors chosen as State Scholars for 1977. Scholars receive honorary citations from Governor Ray and the commission, may compete for monetary awards up to 600 dollars, and use funds for tuition and fees at eligible Iowa colleges.
