Andrew Jensen dies at 68 in Emmetsburg hospital
Andrew Jensen, 68, died in Emmetsburg hospital following illness after treatment at University of Iowa Hospital a year earlier. Funeral Saturday at Lutheran church in Emmetsburg with interment in Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers listed. Born in Denmark, he traveled widely before settling in the Gruettinger area about 30 years ago, never married and had no local relatives. He was highly regarded by longtime Graettinger friends and L. Johnson Truck And McNew Car Collided Near Graettinger
The Leonard Johnson truck and the E. M. McNew car collided five miles west of Graettinger Tuesday. Both vehicles were damaged and towed to a repair shop. Johnson drove the truck and McNew the sedan. neither driver was injured. Editor Frank Koch of the West Bend Journal sought medical treatment in Rochester for a neck infection and may remain there a week or two.

J. Paulsen, Frick’s partner, rallied the Frick team, and by end of the eighth game Frick led by 800 points. Bert Pinney plans a house on wheels for travel to his Albany Georgia farm near Apena grove. Rode high school boys beat Player 82 to 6 and girls 16 to 15, first losses for either team this season.
