Vernon township farmhouse occupied by Fanmet and Jurene Muggerald burned Wednesday morning about 4 20 a m. Both youths slept through smoke until Waonmett woke to alert his brother. They escaped with a few clothes as the house went to the ground. The farm place owned by an Insurance Co lies four miles east of Os aad. The blaze likely from a defect in a newly built chimney. The Fitzgerald boys, two years on the place, escaped with their lives and are sons of Mr and Mrs Dave Fitzgerald of Fort Dodge. relatives of the Time publisher.
