Deer Bow Shot by Former Iowa Resident Marred by Fog
Marvin Stratton, once of Oto Iowa, shot a deer with a bow in heavy fog from seven feet. The arrow pierced the shoulder and heart, the animal ran about 100 yards before dropping dead. Stratton now resides in Minnesota. Headhunters and the use of body temperature in thermometers are noted as historical beliefs.
