State safety dept acts on public traffic violation letters
Kenneth F. Neu, director of the safety responsibility and drivers license division, said the department pays close attention to letters reporting dangerous driving. Most complaints lead to action by the division, from correspondence to re examination. Violations prompting action include deadly or injurious acts or a record of 18 prior violations or accidents. Public tips should be sent to the state car department in Des Moines with a description and period of violations.
