Kenny polio fund drive appoints Holmgren in Palo Alto county
Mrs Clara Holmgren of Ruthven Iowa is named 1953 Sister Elizabeth Kenny Foundation polio fund campaign volunteer chairman for Palo Alto county. Dr Dwight C Wirtz Des Moines orthopedic surgeon Iowa state volunteer chairman announced the appointment. A team of five Kenny therapists in Des Moines administered Kenny treatment to over 400 polio victims, with others from Iowa involved.
