New Wheat Lobred Distribution Aids Iowa Farmers
New winter hardy wheat lobred, developed at Iowa Experiment Station, will be distributed to Iowa farmers this fall for comparison with other varieties. Through the Iowa Experiment Association, about 200 bushels in one and one half bushel lots will go to farmers. The variety shows hard kernels and bronze heads, identified easily, with L. C. Burnett and H. D. Hughes leading the program.
