Funeral of Henry Jorgensen Largely Attended
The funeral for Henry W. Jorgensen, who died after an appendix operation, was held at the home of his parents and at the Danish Lutheran church in South Int township. Rev. Hansen and Rev. Simonsen conducted services in English and Danish. Survived by wife Anna Stow, his parents, and four brothers, his death is mourned by Palo Alto County. He served in World War I and was a respected farmer and American Legion member. The community extends heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Jorgensen and the family.

Osgood Boy Killed in Farm Accident

A severe hail storm last Wednesday covered a broad area north and northeast of Graettinger and east of town. Farms near W. Reed, Wm. Beech er, Wm. Tahman, J. C. Bosold suffered heavy losses while crops east of Graettinger and toward Emmetsburg and West Bend were damaged. Prospects for a bumper yield remain, though losses run into thousands of dollars.
