Yesterday morning Dr Nase presented a 13 ft 6 in corn stalk at the Times office grown by P K Iverson west of town. Iverson holds the current record. Friday S P Dubn brought two stalks reaching 18 ft. Last week Henry Keator sent in a 12 ft 2 in stalk.

Frank Weir brought three ears of corn to the Times office that were the largest and finest we have ever seen. They are now on display and are well worth seeing. Mr. Weir has forty acres of choice corn. The present prospects are that it will yield closer to 100 bushels per acre than to 60.
