Legion Day At Hand's Park Opens Sunday Program
American Legion post 14 Fisher Post will run Legion Day at Hands Park on Sunday August 6 with a big full day of events. Five boxing matches headlined by Strong of Spencer and Fed Jones of Des Moines, a semi pro baseball game Easton Minnesota vs Swea City, vaudeville aerial acts, motor boat race, Buffalo Center band concerts, dancing by Little Bennies orchestra, and a full day of attractions starting at 10 am. Admission 25 cents to the park, 40 cents to the ball game, free for children.
