Mrs Edna Cummings Kruse 36 died of heart failure April 13 born June 7 1893. She graduated West Waterloo High 1910 married Whiner BE Kruse and lived on a farm near Graver. Her husband died 1916 she later studied at Iowa State University receiving BA by 1922 and worked as principal of Armstrong school then taught in Chicago. She served as superintendent of Nast Emmet consolidated school a few months before her death. Also Mrs Sidney C Hays 56 a heart failure victim was a Padmehar teacher and Ames College graduate married to S C Hays June 25 1902 and survived by husband a brother and two sisters.
