The Graettinger State Bank stockholders held a March 16 1961 meeting at the Legion Hall and adopted an amendment to Article II replacing Section 1 of Article III. The capital stock is fixed at $50 000.00, divided into 100 each, fully paid, signed by President A Jensen and Cashier H A Elsenbast.
Dr Clara Davis led a study with three babies aged 8 to 10 months who had only breast milk. At meals a nurse presented six to eight serving dishes of wholesome unrefined foods and the nurse was instructed not to assist until the infant showed a desire. Davis found three important findings: first, self selection led to strong growth and good development.
