Train wreck near Medora halts service all day
A massive landslide one mile west of Medora Saturday at 10 30 halted all rail traffic until 9 pm. An extra westbound freight derailed as hillside slipped, burying the engine and several cars. Engineer and fireman escaped with minor injuries. brakeman C H Williams of Sparta NC suffered potentially fatal injuries and was hospitalized in Dickinson.
