Laborer Sentenced One Year For Theft Of $115 From Brother
Wm Rogers, a laborer, stole $115 from Wm Frances on Henry Feldman’s farm north of the city. He bought $53 worth of clothing in town, hid the old clothes, then fled west on No. 3. Arrested at Billings, he pleaded guilty and received a year in the state penitentiary. He claimed to be 19 but appeared older. A nearby barn burned when rubbish was burned by children near Bunker Hill school.
