A special train carrying President Elliott and key Northern Pacific executives arrived in Beach Tuesday at 4 20 p m. They spoke with local business leaders, toured the city, and planned a brief stop before continuing to Glendive. Elliott cautioned that branch construction depends on funds but indicated the Beach south branch is a long term intention. The party was escorted by F D Cooper, the local company representative.
