An advertisement offers irrigated farms and stock ranches in Montana for colonization and large tracts. It invites inquiries stating the desired property type and mentions a merchandise business for sale at invoice price of 16,000. The note cites Dakota buyers satisfied with their investments and is signed by J. H. Shober, Jr., Helena, Montana.
A reward of 25.00 is offered by John K. Tatley, Township 9, Range Grand Carlyle, Mont, for the recovery of three colts and two mares described as estrayed. The animals include a dark iron gray two year old mare with a wire cut on the left hind foot, a dark sorrel one year old mare with possible hobble marks, and an all black one year old horse with a wire cut on the left shoulder. Each animal bears a left ear mark.
