Retains Bride in Minnesota wedding and Beach visit

Golden Valley Rain Boosts Fall Crops
A storm last Saturday drenched Golden Valley with substantial rainfall, measures at the experimental station showed 0.55 inch over thirty hours. The rain revived potato and flax prospects, lifting harvest potential to about ninety percent and an estimated two to three bushels more per acre. Mr and Mrs J W Brinton were in Glendive yesterday.

Boy badly injured by nitro glycerine cap blast
Robert Butterfield nine-year-old son of J C and Mrs Butterfield farmers ten miles north of town suffered severe lacerations to his hand and facial burns after striking a nitro glycerine cap with a hammer found in a coal load. The thumb end was blown off but doctors expect recovery with permanent nail loss.
