Letters from Commissioner of Agriculture Gilbreath urge Billings county to prepare the best exhibit for the North Dakota Industrial Exposition in Bismarck. A $500 prize awaits the best county display with four additional prizes from $300 to $50. The Commercial club will decide on display space next week. Also noted is a soda spill at the central office disrupting the switchboard and repairs planned. Crowley, a Dickinson druggist, visited the city yesterday.

Farmers Elevator To Change Hands In Logan Hall Deal
At a stockholders meeting in Logan's Hall on Tuesday evening the Farmers Elevator Company of Beach authorized selling the elevator and site to the Golden Valley Farmers Co-Operative company for 10000. The new company has stock arriving and is selling shares at 50 each, with a five share limit per person. Prospective buyers should contact secretary E. E. Noble immediately.

Yankee Robinson Circus Delivers Clean Show to City
The Yankee Robinson circus visited the city and impressed a crowd of about 10,000 with a well behaved, entertaining performance. No fights or disturbances were reported as spectators felt they received good value for their money.

Andrew Olson of Minneapolis, foreman for the contractor, arrived with bricks, cement and a concrete mixer to start the new $20,000 depot at Beach. Work hinges on removing a side track. building will be 380 by 168 feet with a concrete basement and steam heating, promising to be the finest N P depot between Dickinson and Miles City.

Officers Set Fair Dates for Billings County Fair
The Billings County Interstate Fair Association met at Beach Lumber and Coal Co. to set September 26 to 29 for the fair. They discussed hiring a general superintendent and advertising manager, inviting C. D. Harlow to the role and signing a contract for 1911. Harlow will organize prize lists and attractions to make the Third Annual Fair a top Western North Dakota event.
