Dickinson Wins First Game Of Series
The Beach Giants were defeated 12 to 4 by Dickinson Wednesday afternoon. Art Tower pitched for the Giants with Hruska catching. Nelson of Glen Allin pitched for Dickinson with Howard catching. Beach scored in the first, third, and ninth. Dickinson answered with four in the third, fourth, fifth, and a seven in the seventh. The field was rough with pebbles. Nelson allowed six hits while Tower yielded five.

Late Mrs Anton Rish Funeral Notice
Mrs Anton Rish died after months of illness at her Beach area home on a Friday evening at 5 05. She was born in Arton Belgium December 5 1850 and came to the United States in 1872. Survived by her husband Anton Rish and eight children with siblings and two brothers. Funeral was held at St Johns Catholic church with Rev Father Wolpers officiating and burial in Catholic Cemetery. The Chronicle extends condolences to the family.
