Farmers Elevator Stockholders Meet Elect Directors
The Farmers' Elevator stockholders adjourned from July held Thursday in Artis hall presided by President Halstead. They approved Treasurer Noble's report and elected directors E. E. Noble J. D. Halstead Fred Powers E. D. Logan and J. S. Alfers. Directors will choose president secretary and treasurer from among themselves.

Owls Nest to Open at Artis Hall Tuesday
A large nest of Owls will be installed at Artis hall Tuesday evening with about 125 charter members. Peter Shea, district organizer, calls it the largest nest he has started, noting the Owls social order has spread rapidly from the west to the east and is popular among friendly city clubs.

Beach City Dads Take Reins In New Municipal Year
Newly elected Beach officials were inducted led by Mayor-elect Kellogg and Aldermen-elect Hoverson Harkins and Lovell. Brinton was out of town. Theo Mannum treasurer Wm A Bond police magistrate and F W Heath justice of the peace were also named. Kellogg appointed Geo McClellan city auditor and R F Gallagher city attorney as the council prepares to meet next Monday. A wrestling match for December 17 with Hallberg and Pecoy drew forfeit money. The Russell Miller milling plant at Dickinson ships about 5 carloads daily and 8 000 bushels to Beach daily. Power & Wagner offer overshoes at cut prices.

Beach Brass Band Formed In City Streets
A new beach brass band is organized with experienced musicians drawn from the community. D. M. Cooper has collected 180 dollars and ordered instruments. total donations approach 300 dollars. The group includes Isside trombone players two tubas three altos five cornets saxophone three clarinets baritone and two drums. They expect to debut on public streets within two weeks.
