St Henry Airman Delivers Two Notable Benson County Flights
In front of nearly five thousand spectators, Lucky Bob St Henry wowed Benson county with two Curtis Biplane flights. Despite an afternoon delay due to wind, the first display began at 7 30 p m and the second lasted just over five minutes, covering about seven miles with steady control. The Benson county fair drew record crowds and high praise for the exhibition.

Wibaux Team Defeated by Beach at Shooting Tournament

The Third Annual Interstate Fair will be held in Beach North Dakota from September 26 to 29 1911 with the Commercial Club aiding in management. The event features two 500 purse free for all races daily exhibitions by aviator Lucky Bob and flights in a Curtis Air Ship, extensive farm displays, nightly street carnivals, free band concerts and excursion trains. Severe hail devastates Golden Valley crops across region
A severe hail storm hit Golden Valley last Monday night from south of Beach to Brenizer, causing widespread crop losses. Burke Insurance reports 50 total claims with 35 new losses and 15 prior adjusted, with more insured losses expected. Adjusters are in the valley settling claims as farmers express satisfaction with settlements.
