Marilyn Kippen Elected President of Ladies Curling Club
Glenboro Ladies Curling Club held its Annual Meeting with about 45 members. Marilyn Kippen was elected president for 1982 83 and attended MLCA planning events. Committee reports noted bonspiel changes fees and entertainment plans while nominations for officers were announced for the new season.

Fire Dept Aids Search For Elderly Glenboro Resident
The Glenboro South Cypress Fire Department assisted in locating 80 year old Andre Laurin from the Glenboro and District Senior Citizens Home. He was found at 2:30 a.m. one mile south of Glenboro in a ditch, exposed to subzero temperatures with frostbite to his hands. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Golf Club Sets 1982 Fees and Upcoming Tournament Dates
The semi annual Golf Club meeting on March 25 set 1982 fees for men women families and juniors with various restricted non restricted prices. Quadruplet goats born on George Vertz farm near Glenboro
Four kids two white females and one brown male were born to Heidi a Saanen goat. At birth they weighed about a pound and by Sunday about four pounds each. They are bottle fed by Willene and affectionate. The Vertz family keeps five nannies eight kids and a purebred Alpine young buck. They drink the goats milk and eat chevon meat.
