Mrs. Dollie Eastridge 84 Dies in Glen Rose
Dollie Eastridge age 84 died Thursday in Glen Rose after a life spent in Somervell County where she and Jim Eastridge raised a family of two sons and four daughters. She was born February 14, 1877 in Bell County to John and unknown Wright. Survived by 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sister Mrs. Pearl Bailey of San Angelo, brother Tom Eastridge of Ontario California. Funeral services held in Lubbock with Revs. Joe Rogers and Dutch Mann officiating. burial at Lubbock Memorial Cemetery. Glen Rose Funeral Home in charge.

4 H Club Pig Show Winners Named at Somervell
The Somervell County 4 H Club Pig Show on August 22 at the Junior Livestock Show grounds crowned Bobby Miller first, Bob Wilson second, Phillip Jones third, Eldon Rhoades fourth, and Glen Elliott fifth. Shirly Rhoades and Larry Dempsey gifts did not place. Hood County Agent Keith Hillman judged the event with 14 counties participating. Denton Connie Miller placed fifth and Bobby Miller seventh in the Dallas area show. Doyle Cooper praised Somervell Countys best boar ever.

Dr. Fred Price a Glen Rose native and son of Mrs. Tom Price died Sunday morning in a San Angelo hospital after practicing dentistry in Menard. Burial in Menard is planned Monday.
