The Georges Creek Home Demonstration Club gathered May 5 at Mrs. Faye Keller’s home with six members and three visitors. Evangelist J Woodie Holden, Fort Worth, will speak at the senior class baccalaureate in the High School Auditorium Sunday at 8 p.m. Holden, a 1934 Abilene Christian College graduate, has chaired ministries in Midland and Fort Worth, and served soldiers during the war from Camp Barclay to North Park and on Highway 80.
