The Fourth Annual Somervell County Junior Livestock and Poultry Show begins this morning at the Stock Show Grounds with judging at 9 o clock. Tomorrow features the Annual Quarter Horse Show, entry deadline 11 a.m. Saturday, with an auction at 10 a.m. and a Necchi sewing machine prize.

Joseph W. Nystel son of Thomas C. Nystel of Glen Rose has been promoted to Specialist Five while serving with the second U S Army Medical Lab at Fort Meade Maryland. He is a medical laboratory technician and entered the Army in August 1956. He trained at Fort Sam Houston and served at Fort Hood before arriving at Fort Meade in November 1958. Wreck on 67 Injures Fort Worth Woman and Nephew
Mrs Frances G Williams and her small nephew from Fort Worth were driving to Glen Rose when their car left the pavement near the City Limits crossed Van Zandt Creek bridge. The vehicle struck the soft shoulder then slid down an embankment and overturned. Mrs Williams escaped unharmed. the boy suffered only slight injuries. The car sustained extensive damage.
