No Injuries In 2 Car Collision At Hereford And Walker
A two car collision at the Hereford and Walker Street intersection Saturday about 4 30 p m caused an estimated 175 damage to the vehicles involved but left all occupants uninjured according to Sheriff Speck Strawn the investigating officer Wester Bates of Walnut Springs drove a 1931 Chevrolet pickup while letting out a passenger and collided with a car driven by Mrs George Stephens of Paluxy Damage to the pickup was about 50 while Stephens 1963 Chevrolet sustained about 125 of damage Delorees Fallers visited Fort Worth Sunday with her daughter Charlie Belle.

Overlooked Awards Noted in Local Graduation

Rainbow Baptists Plan Pay-As-You-Go Expansion
Rainbow Baptist Church votes to remodel and expand its facility in three phases. The first adds a new heating and cooling system, followed by interior and exterior auditorium renovations, then an educational wing with eight classrooms. Hico Youth Injured in Auto Accident
Jimmie Sellers 17 son of Carl and Mrs. Sellers of Hico was found by Highway 67 east of Chalk Mountain in Somervell County Sunday evening. He was taken to Memorial Hospital in Cleburne for possible skull fracture and back injuries after a couple from Godley found him and transported him. Patrolmen from Stephenville said he may have dozed off en route to Arlington where he works after visiting his parents in Hico.

Methodist Vacation Church School Planned for June
The First Methodist Church will host Vacation Church School June 13 to 17 for ages 4 to 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. Each day includes games and Bible study plus refreshment. Somervell County voters chose Crawford Martin of Hillsboro for the office of State Attorney General by more than three to one in the run off. Old timers in Hood County restore Rock Church a rural Methodist building five miles north of Paluxy near the former Cowan community. The site includes a Civil War era cemetery and a historic suspension bridge over the Paluxy River.
