The State of Texas commands sheriffs and constables to publish the attached citation weekly for four consecutive weeks in a Somervell County newspaper. The first publication must occur at least twenty eight days before the return day.
Publication summons issued in 1962 for Gaston A. Shumate v W H H Murphy and others. It directs defendants and unknown heirs to answer by 10 AM on the first Monday after 42 days, concerning a claim to 850 acres of land tied to Lavaca County School Land Survey.
Mr and Mrs Luba Le Boeuf of Midland visited Mrs A R Whitworth en route to Dallas for their son Lauence Usa Le Boeuf s graduation from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School on June 4. After New York they will live in Spokane for a year as he interns at Deaconess Hospital. Also visiting were Mrs Ethel Mayfield, granddaughter Linda and Mrs Mayfield s daughter and family from Austin for the Rock Creek Homecoming.
Mrs. R T Ratliff spent last week in Llano and attended the wedding of her nephew in Brady. Tuesday the Ratliffs were in Abilene with their son Rayburn and Mr Ratliff's sister Dr Lavega Ratliff.

Mr and Mrs R V Sandlin and their children spent a weekend in Wichita Kansas visiting the Fred Spurgeon family during a short trip.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Blackwell 91 were held at First Methodist Church Walnut Springs. Interment followed at Walnut Springs Cemetery. Also noted were American Legion veterans memorials, Mr. F. O. Daves funeral at the Baptist Church, and various community visits and events around Walnut Springs including the Cannon Family Reunion and a Rice University football scholarship for Ronnie Holliday. The reports name several relatives and local connections in Fort Worth Austin Tyler and Waco.
