Camper Trades Week Sets At Oakdale Park
A Camper Trades Week will be held at Oakdale Park from June 5 to 14 daily 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 1 to 5 pm. Registered campers may sell crafts and used items while the public attends and purchases. Commodities distribution at the County warehouse on Highway 144 with USDA donated commodities about 15 dollars per person, funded by USDA, the State Department of Public Welfare and Somervell County.

Pre School Classes Start Here Monday
About 35 pre schoolers are expected to register for a six week summer session starting next Monday from 9 30 to 10 in the Elementary School building. Mrs Karl Booker and Mrs Arthur Vineyard direct daily classes Tuesday through Friday from 9 to 11 for six weeks. Parents urged to enroll children starting school next semester.

81 Boys Sign Up for Lynnwood Little League Teams
Lynnwood West, Glen Rose Optimist Club sponsor, reports 81 boys signed for seven teams in Little League and Pony League programs. Five Little League teams hold 57 players, two Pony League teams hold 24. Season runs 6 30 p.m. to July 16 with Monday and Thursday games, teams numbered 1 through 5 with named sponsors and coaches, plus two Pony League squads. Schedule lists early June through mid July matchups and a possible championship playoff.
