Parker Named County Auditor for Somervell County
Cecil Parker, longtime local figure and former temporary sheriff and tax assessor, was named County Auditor by District Judge Penn J. Jackson effective July 1. Five Cleburne boys, all minors, were picked up by local officers Sunday afternoon about four miles from Glen Rose and fined 25.50 each in Justice Court for possession of liquor. Mrs Mae Lowery left Monday for Austin to be with a brother who underwent surgery.
