Former Cleburne resident murdered in Cleburne
Jack White, 43, a former resident who attended local schools, was killed last Thursday night in Cleburne. Funeral services were held there Sunday, burial at Squaw Creek cemetery in Rainbow. Survivors include four brothers, a sister, his mother, and his wife, a former Mgr Martin of Glen Rose, now a Nurse Corps captain stationed in Germany.

Earnest Paul Jones of Walnut Springs died in the local hospital Wednesday morning. Born in Alabama, he came to Texas as a young man working with the railroad. He moved to Walnut Springs in 1907 and had been a Mason for over fifty years. Services were held Thursday at the Methodist church in Walnut Springs.
