Gladewater Arts and Crafts Festival Opens At Broadway School
Bright sunshine and a balmy breeze marked the opening of Gladewater’s annual outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival on Broadway School grounds. About 100 artists from Texas Oklahoma Arkansas and Colorado showcased etchings wood blocks prints lithographs and more drawing local residents and out of town visitors for two days of exhibits and sales. Local organizers including the Chamber of Commerce Jaycees Beta Sigma Phi and the Future Teachers of America praised the event as a success with many attendees already buying works from photographers painters and miniaturists.
