Two take retirement from city's J. C. Penney store
Everett G. Eddie Nelson, 60, will retire after nearly 32 years with J. C. Penney at 104 W. Pacific St. He began as a manager in Gladewater in 1957 and will be replaced by J. C. Roberson of the Sulphur Springs store. Nelson’s career spanned Enid, Shawnee, Muskogee, Denton and several Penney stores before settling in Gladewater.
