The Texas Highway Commission notified Gladewater officials of approving a 1.1 mile extension of Loop 485 from US 80 to US 271. The state will prepare right of way data and enter an agreement with Gladewater to acquire rights of way. Estimated state cost is 77.5 thousand dollars.
