West Mountain artist Jim Lambert on universal creativity and handmade jewelry
Jim Lambert argues everyone can learn to craft his one of a kind silver and turquoise jewelry. His mother Donoene McKay and grandfather Shaw McKay contribute designs and woodwork while Donoene’s ring designs gained early exposure in New York production. The trio creates from rough stones, selling primarily to a New York City store, with Jim noting his work reflects personal overcoming of inhibition.
