Hoyt Tribble Dies at 68 in Tyler Rites Wednesday
Hoyt L. Tribble, 68, of Gladewater, died September 28 at Medical Center Hospital in Tyler after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Malcolm Stone Funeral Home, with burial in Gladewater Memorial Park Cemetery. Tribble, born February 6, 1907 in Stephens Arkansas, was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 4002 Longview. He worked as a heavy equipment contractor and was a Mason. He is survived by his widow Ruby Tribble of Gladewater, a son Bobby Tribble of New Orleans, three sisters, two grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
