Former Gladeite Wins Skeet Shoot Aggregate title for American servicemen
Raymond Ross of El Dorado and Gladewater origin won the aggregate championship of the Italian regional skeet championship for American servicemen near Brindisi. Round-Up Rodeo Promotion Bus Leaves Thursday Morning
The Round-Up Rodeo Assoc will haul a chartered bus from Gladewater City Hall parking lot at 8 a.m. Thursday May 29 for a two day tour through 18 to 20 towns promoting the 32nd edition of Gladewater rodeo. About 32 local businessmen and rodeo boosters will ride, putting up posters and handing out balloons and pens to drum up support. The events run June 11 to 14, promising to boost Gladewater’s fame statewide.
