Busy Den 3 Cub Scouts Meet At Methodist Church
Den 3 Cub Scouts Pack 196 sponsored by The First United Methodist Church held a lively meeting. Den Chief Mark Starnes welcomed with a den yell and a holler game. Tigers built plywood turtles and planned home painting and turtle racing. Ray Cumbie celebrated his birthday with cake and songs. Board of Directors Region VII Education Service Center Kilgore set for March 27 in Kilgore Streamliner Restaurant to discuss education programs and personnel actions. Gregg County 4 H Council elected officers Josette Whitaker president Mark Taylor vice president Janet Leath secretary treasurer Marvin Montgomery boys vice chairman Debbie Hughes girls vice chairman and district 4 H patent planned at East Texas State University on April 22 1972.
