Round-Up Rodeo Opens With Contests and Prizes
The city hosts the 35th annual Round-Up Rodeo with preregistration for Chamber and beard contests. Prizes range from 25 to 75 dollars plus two tickets to the Wednesday night show. June 14 is the deadline for guesses on horses in the parade. Grand Entry begins at 8 15 pm and a donated pony gives away fun prizes. The rodeo features $14,000 in prize money and a $12,000 quartz lighting upgrade.
