Union Grove group votes to pursue incorporation plan
About 50 people met at Union Grove School Saturday night to approve moving toward incorporation. Jeff Fortson was elected temporary chairman with Bob Ullrich as temporary secretary treasurer. They reported a trip to Austin for legal help, a $400 fund raised, and a Gilmer law firm retained. Fortson said boundary lines not yet set and emphasized open meeting concerns.
