Tyler man charged in September 1974 murder
Tyler man James Arthur Rodgers 36 was charged with murder in the September 6 1974 shooting death of Willie Sneed 54 of Tyler. He was arrested Monday in Tyler, arraigned in Gladewater, and held on 25000 bond. Sneed’s body was found near East Eddy Street in Gladewater after being shot three times. Autopsy confirmed two .32 caliber bullets.
